MarksmanVR puts you in medieval times, gives you a bow and arrow, and throws horde after horde of barbarians warriors at you. Fight back the hordes, improve your bow and arrow skills, and stay alive.
Great Visuals, Engaging Game Play
The first thing you might notice about MarksmanVR is that the graphical quality in this game is a cut above a great deal of other VR games at this level. The game does its best to keep you interested, with upgrades, combination skills, boss battles, and a wide range of different enemy types to fire your arrows at. These aren't just different kinds of barbarian soldiers and warriors, but also fantastical monsters. The arrow mechanics make the game both great for a casual player, but also a challenge for the more accomplished gamer; anyone can hit the target but it takes a lot more skill to get the perfect shot.
MarksmanVR has clearly been given a lot of attention by its developers, and it shows. The only significant knock against the game is that it could with a bit more explanation about the various skill trees. Perhaps the game could also benefit from more stages. Other than that, the game is well made, looks great, and is worth the price of admission.
